Credits Awarded
The Program Director determines if a qualified Committee Volunteer has met the established critiera required to receive credit:
- credits will be awarded for Quiz/Question writing activities etc.
Approval of Educational Activities
In order for CAMPEP to award MPCEC, a Committee Volunteering continuing education program must be approved for that purpose by the CAMPEP Continuing Education Credit Committee and, where possible, meet the requirements of the American Disabilities Act.
Requirements for approval are as follows:
- The Committe Chair of a Committee related to medical physics activities can apply to become a Program director of continuing education activity.
- In order to be approved, Committees that wish to offer CAMPEP approved MPCECs for a Committee Volunteering activities must meet the following qualifications:
- Program Director qualifications:

The organization has named a Program Director responsible for the credit-granting process.

The Organization has established a structure to maintain data on volunteers’ activities and assign categories for each review activity.

The Program Director has agreed to keep records of the quizzes,questions and/or activities completed by each volunteer and the number of credits given.

- Program Director qualifications:
- Following a change in Program Direcgtor for managing the MPCEC program, a new application must be submitted to continue the program.
